Have been reading, about the journey of how this little girl who finally lost her battle to a rare form of cancer and how freaking strong her mom is. How can one have such mental strength, to look after her other son who is only a year older, and taking care of a girl who is terminally ill.
Just early this year I experienced taking care of my grandma, who have absolutely no knowledge that she is down with 4th stage lung cancer and is about to die. The excruciating pain that she was undergoing and being there rubbing her chest trying to make her feel better, but I obviously know it was of not much use. I was so scared and sad when my uncle finally came, I just turned around and allowed myself to tear. Yes, it was so painful seeing someone so close to you feeling so much pain and not being able to reduce it.
Guess, life still goes on, but memory stays in the heart.
Hope the mom fights on, for her other son and for herself.
I miss waipo
